Confidence is Sexy | Mommies, This Post Is For You!

The number one thing I hear as a personal stylist for mommies is, “it has been so long since I’ve shopped for myself, I don’t know what’s in style anymore.” You know what my response is? Girl, there are ZERO rules in fashion, so have confidence in what you’re wearing! Don’t over think it & don’t be afraid to try something new!

However, to help you get started… here are 3 easy tips to follow:

  1. Think 2-piece versus 1-piece. Why? 1 piece simply gets the job done- True. However, as I mentioned don’t be afraid to try something new! A 2-piece allows you do just that because although it requires a bit more time to pair up, it’s the perfect start to taking a step out of your fashion bubble. Instead of wearing that slip on number that you usually grab & go with, try pairing something like a crop top + high waisted trouser or maxi skirt. This ensemble is an instant style changer that says “hip mom” and I promise, it’ll leave your other mama friends feeling ouu, ahhh & inspired.
  2. Don’t forget to give a little love in the beauty department. Even a quick color on those lips can bring your entire look together. We gotta look good to feel good.
  3. Lastly, don’t follow trends! Instead… be true to yourself- it’s the best way confidence comes!

I’m just a dog mom, but #3 speaks to me! This year I’m trying to develop my own personal style without following trends! 💖 where’d you take this picture? I love flower fields! Just went to the Tulip fields in Mount Vernon.
